Why a kiln?

The bottle kilns fired Longton's pottery for a century. This one sat empty for forty years before we restored it. The round walls hold the heat, so the room stays warm all winter.

  • Heated floor. No cold feet in January.
  • Twelve mats, never more. Your teacher knows your name.
  • Step-free entrance. Plus an accessible changing room.
