Who runs Oakpress Studio?
Oakpress Studio is run by me, Jack Thomas. I’m a web designer from Eston on Teesside, and I spent years building websites for a web design company before opening my own studio in 2026. I build fast websites for small businesses and help them get found on Google, Google Maps and AI answers like ChatGPT.
It’s just me. You deal with the person designing and building your site from the first message to launch day and after it, with no account managers or sales team in between.
Where I work
I grew up in Eston, so most of my clients are on Teesside, and because everything happens online I work with small businesses anywhere in the UK. I work UK hours and reply to every message within one working day. You pay a UK bank account, in pounds.
On Teesside I build websites for businesses in Middlesbrough, Redcar, Stockton and the rest of Teesside, and do local SEO across Teesside.
What I do, and what it costs
- Starter website, £295: up to 3 pages, live in 7 days.
- Business website, £595: up to 6 pages with bookings or enquiries, live in 10 working days.
- Bigger sites, from £1,500: 7 pages or more, online shops, several locations or big rebuilds, with a fixed quote in 1 working day.
- Search Fix, £149: your Google profile, listings and website basics fixed in 5 days, or your money back.
- Grow, £99 a month and Care, £40 a month: keeping you found and your site looked after.
Every price is fixed and agreed before I start. Websites are 50% to start and 50% before launch, and the site and domain are in your name. Every job starts with a free Found Check: where you show up now on Google, the map and ChatGPT, and the 3 things that would help most.
How I work
- Built to be found: every page says plainly what you do and where, in words customers actually search, with the Google side set up properly.
- Phones first: most customers will see your site on a phone, so that’s where I design and test it.
- Honest about results: nobody can promise a position on Google. I show you where you stand, fix what’s holding you back, and report what moved every month.
- Yours to keep: the domain, the site and your Google profile are all in your name. See who owns your website.

Is Oakpress Studio a UK business?
Yes. Jack is British and works UK hours for UK clients, with a UK WhatsApp number and UK bank details, so UK clients pay in pounds. He works fully online, so he can work with a small business anywhere.
Can I meet Jack in person?
Everything happens online: email, WhatsApp and video calls whenever you want one, with your site on a private preview link you can check on your own phone before anything goes live.
